Claudius Misquitta sdb BUDAPEST, OCTOBER 7, 2008: In the early hours of October 1, 2008, a ‘new son’ of India rose to embrace the land of the Blue Danube! Cl. Pradeep Dias arrived to a quiet but warm welcome from the Salesians of the Province of Hungary. The Provincial Fr. József Havasi and the Provincial elect Fr. Albert Van Hecke lovingly and joyously welcomed this young Salesian to his new homeland. His companions from India, Cl. Claudius Misquitta and Cl. Lytton Quadros, were overjoyed to be reunited with him in this distant country and to rekindle a friendship they had always cherished.
The Salesians and the people of Hungary took an instant liking to this cheerful and enthusiastic young Salesian as he introduced himself in Hungarian just four days after landing here. The road hereafter may not always be smooth and surely there will not be sunshine everyday, but we pray that the Lord may journey with our new missionary. Let your light shine - Pradeep!
