This tournament was organized in honor of 150th Anniversary of the Salesian Congregation. The tournament began with a prayer service cum Inauguration. Rev. Fr. Since it was a knock out, game by mid- afternoon the semi- finals began which left the eyes focused on trying to guess the finalist. It was amazing to watch the finals between ‘Our Lady of Perpetual Help’ and ‘Don Bosco Gex’. Both the teams gave in their very best which made them score an equal point of 48 each that was just thirty seconds before the match. The last thirty seconds being a crucial time for both the teams it was a nail-wrecking moment. During the last 10 second, it was ‘Don Bosco Gex’ that shot the basket and stood triumphant with the final score of 51 points.

The closing ceremony began with the cutting of the cake by the Salesian Priest to celebrate the 150TH Anniversary of our Congregation which was then followed by the prize distribution ceremony.

On November 15, 2009 after the children’s Mass, the youth group in collaboration with the Catechism teachers organized fete games for the catechism children to celebrate the children’s day. This gesticulation of making the children feel special sent them with smile on their faces as they bid the teachers good bye before they left the premises.
