MUMBAI, DECEMBER 1, 2009: Saturday morning came with some of the best possible weather for the Shelter’s annual picnic. It was a day full of fun, filled with joy and happiness, when the Shelter Family went out of their way to make November 28, 2009 a memorable day at Anand resort.
The morning started with a sumptuous breakfast at the resort. The kids seemed to love the water pool and games. At 12 noon the announcement struck and everyone lined up for the feast. With a mouth-watering cuisine of Chinese and Punjabi with hot kheer to end it all. Then all settled down with great food and excellent company and all that was heard was quiet conversation and the sounds of contentment. Free ice gola, popcorn and Candy floss stall added to their glee. There was plenty more they could check out before it was time to head back home. Adventure water games and slides made the boys enthralled with joy. A day full of joy and excitement ended with mutton biryani celebrating Bakri-Id.
