KAPADVANJ, AUGUST 3, 2010: On July 26, 2010, there was an official inauguration of MoRD project in the presence of Kapadvanj Taluka Mamlatdar Mr. Jani and Deputy Mamlatdar Mr. Bhikhabhai Patel. The students, their parents and the Don Bosco staff and management witnessed, MoRD is taking off in Kapadvanj taluka.
Kapadvanj is a sub centre of Dakor Pushpanjali which conducts the course on IT and Communication Skills. The mobilization for the students began on June 15, 2010 with Mr. Robinson the MoRD instructor and DRISTI Staff. Soon we had students flocking to the institute for their admission. We have already got a batch of twenty eight students.
The programme began with a prayer song presented by MoRD students. Then the chief guests lit the lamp as a symbol of God’s presence in this activity. Fr. Ivan D’Souza welcomed the gatherings and told the people about the life of Don Bosco who too came from BPL family. Mr. Robinson briefed the people of MoRD project in detail. Mr. Sailesh spoke on various activity conducted by DRISTI organization. Then our chief guest Mr.Jani gave a talk to the students and their parents that government declares many programs for the development of BPL people but BPL people are not interested in it. Thanks to the Don Bosco organization who is taking initiative to run this programme.
Students were given their identity cards by our eminent guests. Chief Guest Mr. Jani cut the ribbon of the Computer lab and declared MoRD project open. Fr. Mayank thanked all for taking time out and making this program a success.
