YERWADA, AUGUST 10, 2010: Vianney Sunday was celebrated by the Sacred Heart Parish, Yerwada with zest and grateful hearts. The Eucharist Celebration was very apt and well planned by the Parish Liturgy team.

In a brief sermon at the 7.15 am Marathi Mass, Fr. Francis Kharjia, the Parish Priest highlighted the selfless life of St. John Marie Vianney which was truly inspirational and motivating for all Catholics.

For the first time the Parish organized a befitting program to facilitate the priests of the parish: Parish Priest Fr Francis Kharjia, Assistants Fr. Donald Fernandez, and Fr George Miranda. A warm welcome was given to all with a traditional Aarti and tikka. Priests from the neighborhood were also invited to concelebrate. A grand lunch with songs and a game made the felicitation lively.

Our priests were thanked for their invaluable service with floral tributes and tokens of love and appreciation .It was indeed a very prayerful and joyous day for the Priests.

Fr. Francis Kharjia, in appreciation for the Parish gesture on this occasion offered, roses to all the Parish Council Members. He thanked the Parish Council Secretary Leena Shinde and the team for organizing the feast day celebrations well.
