NASHIK, SEPTEMBER 7, 2010: On September 4, 2010 the students of Don Bosco School Nasik expressed their love and gratitude for the teachers by felicitating them on the occasion of the Teachers day. The theme of the day was “with grateful hearts” expressed very well by the students as well as their parents. It’s been a tradition for last three years here in Don Bosco Nasik, thanks to the innovative idea of Fr. Diego Nunes that the parents take a leading role in preparing the students for the items to be staged for the teachers. Not far behind are also the Past pupils who also took an active part in the program.
The special day began with the Std X boys escorting the Teachers to their places. A prayer dance to ask the blessings of almighty god on the teachers was followed by a series of dance, skits and thank you speeches by the PTA president and past pupils. The day ended with a festive lunch.
