WADALA, SEPTEMBER 7, 2010: September 3, 2010 was a day set aside by the Josephites for their teachers. The students wanted to make this day an extraordinary one for their mentors and guides. The day began by invoking God's blessings through a Thanksgiving Mass for the Catholic students and staff and a prayer-service for the non-Catholic students.

The Prayer Dance by the students of the primary section asking the Lord to ‘Open the Eyes of My Heart’ brought tender smiles to the faces of the teachers. The teachers were indeed touched by the sentiments echoed through the poem ‘A Teacher for All Seasons’. The skit performed by the students of Std. X and the foot-tapping dance of Std. IX enthralled the audience and added cheer to the celebration.
Fr. Bernard thanked the teachers for their dedication and sacrifices as they helped students grow and mature, and on behalf of the staff, thanked the students for the beautiful programme which was a marvelous manifestation of this love, respect and gratitude towards their teachers. After the programme, the teachers set out for the Acres Club, Chembur, for a sumptuous lunch. Fr. Aloysius led everyone in prayer before the meal and expressed his gratitude to the teachers for their whole-hearted service and commitment to the school.
It was indeed a memorable day for all the teachers who were made to feel special on this auspicious day.
