BIS #2106 THE INVESTITURE OF THE NEW SCOUTS AND GUIDES AT DON BOSCO SCHOOL

ANTHONY DIAS sdb

DAKOR, OCTOBER 25, 2010: It was a memorable experience for the students of Don Bosco especially for the new students who joined the movement in the month of July. The students had prepared themselves and came regularly for the classes on Saturdays that were allotted to them. They studied the motto and the prayers and the flag song well. This made apt for the occasion and the ceremony made them feel good because it took place in front of the whole school in the morning during the assembly. The students were invested by the principal and the other staff members. In the second half of the programme to make the day special for the new scouts and the guide’s a special session was prepared by Brother Anthony on the topic of wood craft sign and the knots. To prepare the students well for the coming up major event Boscoree they were asked to take up the responsibility. The students went home happily with so many new things to be learnt and making life more enjoyable. They went home promising to prepare well for the Boscoree and do the best to fulfill their responsibility that they had taken up for the Boscoree.
