BIS #2468 SANKLAP- A LIVELIHOOD PROJECT FOR THE YOUTH

BORIVLI, JULY 26, 2011: Don Bosco Technical Training Institute inaugurated the sixth batch of Sanklap under the leadership and guidance of Fr. Anthony Santarita at Bosco Boys Home, Borivili. Sankalp is a three months basic training program in Hotel Management for the Marginalised, Underprivileged, and the Drop out Youth of Mumbai City. The earlier five batches of Sanklap were very successful.
Fifty youngster’s boys and girls were all excited for the first day of their training program. The day began with an opening ceremony at 11.00 am where Fr. Santarita the Director of the Institute with the BBH community members and the faculties of the institute lit the lamp. Fr. Santarita then welcomed the students and briefed them about the training program and its importance and that such training program could be given only in Don Bosco Technical Training Institute. He asked the students to stay focused during the training and assured them of the finest experienced Trainers and Training Materials available in the Institute. Fr. Santarita wished the students success and assured them support of the entire faculty. He promised to mould them into great personal in Hospitality Sector in three months. He thanked Mr. Dayanand Patil for mobilizing so many students.
 
The Day came to an end with an orientation program prepared by the project coordinator Mr. Dayanand Patil and his team.
