BIS #2478 THERESIAN SUMMER CLUB 2011

AUGUST 2, 2011: The fifth week of the Theresian Summer Club has come to an end. The colour theme for the day was Blue. Students from class seven to nine enacted the parable of the ‘Prodigal Son’ with a modern twist. The children did a fantastic job and I’m sure the other children learnt a lot from it.

In the class activities, four to six age group students got involved in art and craft, they made rabbit and lion faces out of paper plates. Seven to nine age groups made beautiful art as a form of wealth from waste. Ten to thirteen age groups did a lot of out door activities which definitely got them and the coordinators a lot of exercise. Fourteen to eighteen age groups had a vocational talk on Mechanical Engineering. The children were very enthusiastic about this particular career and had many queries.

Another talent show showcasing the Solo Dance and Impersonation Competition on August 8, 2011. The kids are also gearing up for the much awaited ‘Cultural Day’ which is on August 26, 2011, and everyone’s making the best use of the time in hand.
