PUNE, AUGUST 15, 2011: When nothing else does to soothe the soul, the perfect holiday treat during a weekend for some is the power of Gospel music.
Just as the biblical figure David played his lyre to calm troubled King Saul, so did the community at Don Bosco Youth Centre help youngsters to reflect on God's goodness and to use the healing power of music as a source for strength to triumph over difficult times by staging An Evening with Gospel songs entitled – “Yes Lord “which was held on August 13and August 14, 2011.
The Brothers along with the Youth members of various parishes enthralled a huge crowd with their foot-tapping renditions. The evening was young and the ambience just right, as the musicians and singers set the mood, playing great Gospel songs which led the people to clap their hands and move to the pulsating beats of the music. The Visual presentations and well-choreographed dances truly added color.
Those who were already tired of the entire weeks chores got their energy refueled after trying their hand at stunts like singing and swaying to the beats!
We thank all the organizers who made this evening a successful event.
