Students welcomed the teachers with a loud round of applause. The program began with a prayer invoking God’s blessings on all teachers. Students then presented a melodious song addressing teachers as their ‘Heroes’. A poem on teachers was then recited by a few students. A folk dance, `Gondhal’, was performed with great enthusiasm by the students. Another medley of folk dances was presented by the students bringing to the stage a lively enthusiasm and a sense of pride in our country’s unity in diversity.
The highlight of the program was an orchestra performance with students of various classes playing a variety of instruments to the notes of `I have a dream’ in wonderful symphony. Watching our budding musicians gave everyone present a sense of pride and joy.
Fr. Bonnie Borges, the Manager, then presented gifts to the teachers. Later Fr. Principal projected a beautiful compilation of moments in class which depicted gratitude to teachers. He also delivered the Vote of Thanks. Students then wished their teachers with handmade cards and flowers, and dispersed.
The Non-teaching Staff then conducted some games like ‘passing the hula- hoop’ and `kisme kitna hai dum’. Teachers then danced to some foot-tapping music. They thanked the Management and Non-teaching Staff for the wonderful day that they had.
A Staff photograph was clicked at the end of the program to capture these sweet memories.
