BORIVLI, FEBRUARY 14, 2012: The Sunday prior to Valentine's Day is celebrated as "World Marriage Day" in the Archdiocese of Mumbai. The Family Cell of St John Bosco Church celebrated this day and invited all couples for a special Eucharistic celebration.  Roses were distributed to all couples to be exchanged during the renewal of marriage vows.

The main celebrant Rev. Fr. Ronnie, in his homily, highlighted the "Beatitudes of Married Life." He urged couples to accept the challenges which married life puts forth, with complete trust in Divine Providence.  He encouraged couples to accept children willingly, as every child comes with a message that God still loves the world. Fr. Ronnie also prayed that the sanctity of marriage be preserved in these challenging times.

The couples were blessed with holy water by the priest during the renewal of their vows, as they invoked the blessings of the Holy Spirit with the hymn "Spirit of the Living God"

After Communion, the input given earlier was enhanced by listening to the song "Love changes everything." The couples renewed their bond of love and left rejuvenated, experiencing the joyful life of love and togetherness.
