INSTALLATION OF NEW RECTOR

BORIVLI, MAY 29, 2012: On May 27, 2012 at 8pm Fr. William Falcao was installed as the Rector of Don Bosco Borivli. The Installation ceremony was impressive with Fr. Michael Fernandes sdb, Provincial introducing Fr. Falcao and praising him for his contribution to the society and thanking him for his willingness in accepting the responsibility as the rector of the institution.

 

Fr. Provincial also thanked the outgoing Rector Fr. Ronald Menezes for his contribution as the Rector and Parish Priest. He spoke of the Rector as an Animator of the House and how the word 'Animator' comes from 'Anima' which means the soul.

 

Fr. Ajoy Fernandes, the Vice Provincial too referred to the Constitution and the importance of the Rector as the head of the community.The Confreres present welcomed, congratulated and wished Fr. William all the best as he takes up the Role of the head of the community.
