ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF SALESIAN CO-OPERATORS
MATUNGA,  JULY 21,2012:  Seventy five Salesian Cooperators, five SDB and two FMA Delegates met together at the Provincial House Matunga on Sunday July 8, 2012 from 5.00 pm to 8.30 pm for their Annual General Meeting.
The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by our Provincial Delegate, Fr Wilfred D'Souza, concelebrated by  Fr  Godfrey  D'Souza and Fr Bastin Thomas. Fr Wilfred in his homily stressed on New Evangelization.  He reminded us that the Holy Father has dedicated this year from October 12 onwards as the ”YEAR OF FAITH.”
After a short tea break, the meeting started with the opening prayer and lighting of fire symbolizing the fire of love which each Cooperator should have for Don Bosco and his work.  The presence of the Cooperators from each unit was acknowledged.  The minutes of the last AGM were read and passed. The annual general Report, a summary of Activities and statement of Accounts for the year 2011-2012 were read and passed.  List of programmes that are lined for the year 2012-2013 were then presented.  
Fr Wilfred in his concluding remarks asked the Units to keep their records in order and carry on the formation programmes with seriousness and regularity.  He also thanked all the Delegates in a special way for their presence and for their spiritual and moral support in the local units.
Mr. Joseph raised a vote of thanks and Mr. Richard ended with the closing prayer and a hymn at 8.30pm.
