JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR ROCKS AT DON BOSCO YOUTH CENTRE

PUNE, AUGUST 18, 2012 :  Don Bosco Youth Centre, Pune reaches yet another milestone of glory and honour with the presentation of the musical, “Jesus Christ Superstar.”   The baby steps of the casts, which began in the first week of July found its finished product on the 11 and 12 of August,2012. The cheers, the thunderous applause and the jam-packed auditorium stand as a witness to the success of the event. A big word of thanks to the painstaking efforts of 35 youngsters of the different parishes of Pune and the community of Don Bosco Youth Centre, who day in and day out rehearsed their parts to accomplish this gigantic task.

Bros. Jacob, Crescens and Jason formed the animating nucleus, which did a wonderful job under the able guidance of Leon Rodrigues the director, in animating and coordinating the different sectors of the musical. The outcome of the one month tireless hard work of the musical crew was the successful show and the release of the souvenir to thank and appreciate the benefactors and the youngsters for their generosity and sacrifice in forwarding the mission of Don Bosco.  This year the musical was staged to support and fund the new initiative of the institute  “the Ujjwal Project” a home for the poor and the under privileged children of Pune.  Cheers dear fathers, brothers and youngsters!!!!!
