CULTURAL DAY STD. I DON BOSCO MATUNGA

MATUNGA SEPTEMBER 03, 2012 : On September 01, the theme `Loving Kindness for a Better Tomorrow `, was beautifully portrayed by the Don Bosco, Matunga students of Std. 
I in the form of dance, drama and music.
The programme began with a lovely welcome by the students of Std. I D who came dressed in rainbow colours and set the tone for the day with their graceful dance and melodious singing. They also spelt out the word WELCOME.
The Prayer Dance presented by Std. I B spoke of Thy loving kindness being better than love. The power point presentation highlighted the 
different religions and their sacred teachings. This was followed by the students seeking God`s blessings in song and dance.
The Alphabet Song by Std. I C and the Action Song by Std. I D depicted harmony.
The skit presented by Std. I A showed Unity in 
Diversity through colourful costumes, well choreographed dances from the different Indian states and foot – tapping music.
The Principal`s inspiring speech and the Thank you song by Std. I D brought this programme to an end.
This was a red letter day in the lives of the little ones of Std. I who each got a chance to perform on stage thanks to the tireless efforts of their teachers and the expert guidance of the Head Teacher.
