CULTURAL DAY STD. II
These days are unique events in the Activity calendar of the Primary section because on these days each and every student gets an opportunity to perform on stage. The class teacher assigns a role to each student depending on what he is comfortable with. A variety entertainment programme emerges as a result of this effort.
Std. II put up an unforgettable performance in their Cultural day on September 15, revolving around the theme “Nurturing Presence Fosters Loving Hearts.”
The parents of Std. II and the school management witnessed a programme rich in entertainment.
The lovely power point presentation prepared by the Head Teacher on Nurturing Presence put the audience in an introspective mood.
Then the students of Std. II C welcomed the audience in song to a vibrant beat. Std. II D praised God for His wonderful creations in a Prayer dance. Std. II B enacted a skit and gave the audience a thought provoking message – Why not make loving kindness a part of your life...after all it’s a Small Small World.
Then it was Std. II C showing the audience a different use of the hat in a Mexican song. Std. II A in their skit depicted beautifully how love changes everything and love makes such a difference to the world.
The Thank-You song at the end left the audience humming merrily. The audience was left mesmerised by the performance. Each item had them glued to their seats applauding and wanting more.
The Rector and the Principal congratulated the teachers. Kudos to the Salesian Educative Community- the teachers, students and their parents for their excellent team work.
