BIS # 3639 VICTORY - UNDER 16 MSSA FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

BORIVLI-MUMBAI, AUGUST 21, 2013: Don Bosco, Borivli had their crowning glory, when their under 16 team won the 2nd place in the MSSA Football tournament. This victory also marks their foray into the much awaited 1st Division after a long hiatus of nearly 6 years.

St. Mary's, Mazgaon proved to be the better side in a thrilling heart stopping Final with a score of 2:1, thereby ending Don Bosco, Borivli's unbeaten run throughout this MSSA - Under 16 tournament. Captain Melburn Vaz claimed a total of 7 goals along with Wayne Trinidade's 5 goals in the tournament tally of Don Bosco's 27 goals. Coach Melwyl Fernandes commended the young players for their splendid efforts.
