MATUNGA-MUMBAI, OCTOBER 16, 2013: The students of Sr. KG celebrated their cultural day on 5th October 2013 in the primary hall of the school. The prayer song 'All things bright and beautiful' was sung and enacted by the students to bring out the message of God's abundant love for us. They then enacted 'Goldilocks' with dialogue and song, bringing out the message of obedience to parents and the consequences they suffer when they do not obey.

The skit on Loving Kindness began with the hymn 'God still loves the world'. It reminded the audience of His many wonderful gifts to mankind and of His unconditional love. The students also danced on the song 'Dil hai chotasa, chotisi asha'. This dance brought out the message of not looking down on the underprivileged. The Bihu dance showed the rich culture of India. The skit continued with the children portraying how parents, grandparents and children show their love for each other. They also showed how the ministers of the nation reach out to the poor with schemes for food, education etc. The finale had the entire cast of the skit on stage singing the song by Glen Campbell 'Try a little kindness'.

The cultural day ended with the farewell song 'We wish you luck as we wave you goodbye'. The kids did their part wonderfully well and mesmerized the audience.
