SAVEDI, JANUARY 13, 2014: The New Salesian priests of the Mumbai Salesian province; Fr. Charlin Chandran, Fr. Leon Cruz and Fr. Shaker Mariadas celebrated the Eucharist at St. John Bosco 
The community of Savedi was blessed to have the newly ordained priests celebrating the Eucharist with them. Fr. Leon was the main celebrant for the Eucharist. Along with preaching about the Baptism of Jesus, Fr. Leon shared with the people a part of his vocation story. Fr. Leon said,"All of us priests and brothers have heard the voice of God and are following Him. God is speaking to each one of us. It is up to us to listen and do what He says."
After the Eucharist all the faithful kissed the hands of the new priests. There was little celebration outside the church with the cutting of the cake and everyone congratulating to the newly ordained priests.
Indeed it was a moment of grace for the parish of St. John Bosco, Savedi. Everyone wished the priests all the best for their future ministry.
