JHABUA-MADYA PRADESH, JUNE 11, 2014: A three day Youth Convention programme was organized by Fr. Pratap Damor for the ICYM Youth of the Jhabua Diocese at Thandla from May 26-29. The convention gathered around 210 youth from the entire diocese. 'Touched by Jesus and walking in his footsteps' stood as the theme for the programme. Fr. Franklin, the National Youth Director hoisted the ICYM flag and Fr. Peter K declared the convention open and also celebrated the Inaugural Mass.
The following day, the convention began with the inflow of talks and moments of reflection. Fr. Franklin invited the youth to experience the touch of Jesus, thereby engaging oneself in a spiritual colloquy with him. Thereafter Fr. Varghese challenged the youth to bring out their potentials and actualize a greater and successful future for them. Mrs. Dolly imprinted within the youth the importance of Personality Development and its long term benefits. The convention came to an end with Bishop Devprasad Ganawa addressing the youth.
