NERUL-MUMBAI, JUNE 28, 2014: Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul organized a 'CREATIVE DAY 'on June 21, 2014. It was organized to open a window of
new perspective towards art, in the students. Rev Fr. Bonnie Borges (Manager) and Fr. Anthony Fonseca (Principal) were the Guests of Honour for the Opening Ceremony. The Programme commenced at 10 a.m. with the felicitation of the dignitaries.An Art Workshop was conducted as a part of the Creative Day programme along with Creative Day competitions, for children of classes I to X. Events like 'Fun with Bottle Caps', 'Pebbles Decoration', 'Decoupage on Canvas' and 'Landscape on Canvas' were conducted. Thereafter the Creative Day was conducted from 10:00 a.m.to 12:00 p.m. Students were divided into four Groups;A(I and II), B(III-V), C(VI and VII) and D(VIII-X). Seventy students participated from classes I to X. Students from different groups took part in the contest. The entire campus was abuzz with creativity.
Overall, the Creative Day displayed an excellent array of talent, in the form of creative articles, which were well appreciated by the judges. On the whole, it was a well-organized competition. Teacher Kiran and Teacher Prajakta (Art Teachers) were responsible for organizing and executing the entire creative day event.
