KHARGHAR-NAVI MUMBAI, DECEMBER 26, 2014: Picnic is a trip or excursion to any desirable place or an outing to the countryside. It provides an opportunity of informal communication between 
teachers and students. This helps in building a bond among teachers and students. It gives them out of class experience, and helps in social development and informal way of learning.
The annual picnic of Dominic Savio Kindergarten for Preparatory and Pre- Preparatory classes was organized on Saturday, December 20, 2014. The children were taken to the Central Park, Kharghar in 6 buses that left at 9.00 a.m. from the school. At the park, the children enjoyed playing on the fantastic new international swings and slides. After a while, the teachers took them around the place for sight – seeing, to see musical instruments displayed at various corners of the park. The children returned to the school by 11.45 a.m.
