NERUL-MUMBAI, JANUARY 8, 2015: Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul organized a Career Guidance Session for the students of Classes XI and XII on January 2, 2015. The counseling 
session was organized to help the students explore different career options. Mr. Pankaj Tawde, a very distinguished consultant was the guest speaker for the session.
Mr. Pankaj did not go by the conventional way of explaining all the career options in a monologue but instead had an interactive session. He asked the students about their interests and accordingly expounded the aspects. The key points that he elaborated on, were interest, aptitude and financial facet. He also explained that a career should be opted for on the basis of what a person enjoys. 
The basic difference between a mere hobby and a puissant passion was also made clear. Children were urged to make a decision within the limited time that they had before their final twelfth board exams. He also suggested giving a simple test and having a one-on-one discussion to determine what the pupils were good at.
The session concluded with a question-answer discourse where students clarified their doubts. Feedback forms were handed out and they deliberated over their future careers. The session was all in all, a constructive and knowledgeable one.
