NERUL-MUMBAI, JANUARY 8, 2015: Don Bosco Senior Secondary School organized a career guidance session for the students of Classes IX and X on January 3, 2015. The session was held to help the students know the pros and cons of the different streams and the career paths they offered. Mr. Pankaj Tawde, a very distinguished consultant was the guest speaker for the session.
The session commenced on a light note as Mr. Pankaj put a student in a humorous situation and through that helped the students realize the significance of belief in self. He explained that a student has strengths and weaknesses and they should all work on their inherent strengths. Mr. Pankaj also advised the students to study daily for 2 hours. He gave various career options such as engineering, medical, veterinary science, pharmacy, marketing and finance.
At the end, Mr. Pankaj encouraged the students by saying "You all are capable of achieving great heights.' The career counseling session was an educative one which will help the students choose a field that is in tune with their skills and their job expectations.
