MUMBAI, AUGUST 20, 2015: A group of 74 senior citizens from Our Lady of Dolours parish, Wadala met on Independence Day to discuss several age-related issues, ranging from their medical needs to being more physically and financially independent.

Doctor Behram Bunshah was invited to talk to the senior citizens on various health related issues. He gave them simple tips on living a graceful, peaceful life and even demonstrated a few simple exercises to deal with pain in the back, leg and knees.

He stressed on the need for those present to make a Will and to have a secure bank account and have all electricity and other bills in their name.

In a group discussion initiated by Father Godfrey, the group singled out a few suggestions to help senior citizens in the community.

Suggestions included the involvement of the youth in assisting them in crossing busy streets and training of para-medics in the community for first-aid assistance.
