BIS #4533 CREATIVITY TAKES CENTRE STAGE AT DON BOSCO, BORIVLI

MUMBAI, AUGUST 24, 2015: A wealth of creativity was on display at the Bicentenary event to mark the birth of Don Bosco held at the Don Bosco Educational Complex, Borivli on August 14.   


The fun-filled extravaganza included an inter-class, inter-house dance competition, a live student band and youth honouring the great Saint by composing and singing songs in his memory.

 

The campus was filled with visitors of various age groups, from toddlers to teenagers, parents and even senior citizens.

 

The programme began with students parading to tunes dedicated to Don Bosco. They were followed by the Chief Guest, Father Lionel Braganza - the Principal of Indian Education Society - Kuwait, the school management and representatives of the Parent Teacher Association. 

 

Father Braganza gave an inspiring message to all present which was very relevant for our times.    


The hall at the campus was transformed into a Museum on the life of Don Bosco. Videos on his life gave visitors a deeper insight into Don Bosco's vision.

 

Tele-games were also organised for all the students and keeping with the spirit of the occassion, the Proforce team organized football matches as well.

 

All the students and staff came dressed in their colourful T-shirts and don Bosco wrist bands, which were launched for the Bicentenary celebration.
