BIS #4542 THE WORLD AT THEIR DOORSTEP

MUMBAI, AUGUST 29, 2015: Representatives from a range of internationally renowned universities from Australia, USA, United Kingdom, France, Singapore and Canada visited Don Bosco College, Kurla for 'International Shiksha Abhiyan' on August 20.

 

The programme was initiated by Study Networks to help students from standard nine and ten – from Don Bosco High School, Matunga make informed decisions about their future.

 

A delegation representing popular and emerging study destinations, ranging from Monash University (Melbourne), Essec Business School (France), S.I.M. (Singapore), I.E. (Spain), University of Victoria (Canada) to The University of South Carolina (U.S.A.) were present to counsel the students about possible future careers. Other delegates represented universities in New Zealand, The Netherlands, Ireland and UK.

 

Students were mentored with the necessary information and a one-on-one delegate-student interaction followed. Further information through brochures and details about essentials such as passport and visa requirements, qualifications necessary for each course and available scholarships were also given.

 

"Time and again, Don Bosco, Matunga, has proved to be one of the best schools in Mumbai," said a parent, Mrs Manghi, "This time the school has gone one step further and brought the world of international education to our doorstep."
