BIS #4618 CELEBRATING DON BOSCO THROUGH DANCE

NASHIK, AUGUST 18, 2015: Six schools from Nashik participated in a dance competition held at Don Bosco School, Nashik to commemorate the 200th Birth Anniversary of Saint John Bosco.


The great Saint always urged youth to run, jump, dance, study, play and to have all the fun they want, but to avoid sin.

 

The organisers of the competition kept Don Bosco's words in mind while planning the programme. Students from Nirmala Convent, Kilbil, St. Joseph High school, Vidya Prabodhini Prashala, St.Xavier's , Horizon Academy and Navrachana High School took part in the dance-off.

 

Horizon Academy won top honours in the junior category and Don Bosco School claimed top spot in the senior category.

 

Father Anthony Goyal, the Principal, thanked and praised all participants, principals and teachers for their time and energy spent in preparing the youth for the competition. Prizes were given by Father Jude D'mello, the Rector.
