MUMBAI, AUG 3, 2016: Students of Don Bosco Junior College, Borivli pitted their talents against each other in a Talent Hunt that featured nail art, tattoo making, t-shirt painting, dance and singing competitions on July 29.

The Talent Hunt also presented budding writers with an opportunity to explore their creativity as they penned poetries and essays. Those who enjoyed performing took to the stage in the solo singing, solo dancing and the english elocution competitions.

The institution believes that talents can be tapped and discovered when youth are given an avenue to explore their God-given gifts. This was clearly evident in the array of nail designs, the artistic tattoos and the T-shirt paintings. The on-stage events also helped the students to build their confidence and overcome stage fright.

The Principal, Father Flovi D'Souza, encouraged the students. He said, "Participation in the events is far more important than winning or losing." An important lesson indeed for the youngsters, in today's over-competitive world.
